Development has been ongoing throughout the winter and spring after Research Profiles, the faculty profile and research information platform for the School of Medicine piloted in 2019, was renewed in January for a second year.
Existing School of Medicine faculty profiles were recently updated, and approximately 500 new profiles were added. We’ve also made several notable enhancements to Research Profiles for 2020.
Highlights of the latest release include:
- Instructors are now included as part of Research Profiles.
- Lab website links and ORCID IDs can be included in your profile.
- For clinical faculty, the “Areas of Clinical Interest” section from your WUPhysicians Directory listing is now integrated into your Research Profile along with a link to direct visitors looking for practice information.
- By popular request, a new Research Profile Change Request form is now available online to easily submit requests for additions or changes for items such as photos, lab website links, name changes, research or clinical interests, and corrections to publication information.
Research Profiles is sponsored jointly by the Office of the Dean, Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), and medical school departments. The Research Profiles support team at Becker Library will continue to provide user support and gather feedback and comments from faculty and staff.
If you have questions about Research Profiles or would like to schedule a demonstration for your department or group via Zoom, please contact Laura Simon, Research Support Librarian, at profiles@wustl.edu.
