The Operations & Facilities Management Department (OFMD) is excited to announce construction updates for the Becker Medical Library. Read below for the details!
Becker Medical Library
Starting May 21st, the Operations & Facilities Management Department will begin construction on the first floor and lobby of the Becker Medical Library. This work will be completed around September 14th. This includes a replacement of the mechanical/electrical/plumbing/fire sprinklers, a new library front desk and a wellness kiosk. The existing lobby between the library entrance and Cancer Research will also be renovated.
All areas in the library and lobby will have new finishes, ceilings, paint and flooring. New task chairs for the lower level, third and fourth floors of the library study space will arrive early this summer. There will be detours to get into the library as construction moves forward and we will post signage. Please view the floor plan for additional information on areas of construction.
