Resource Spotlight: HS Talks’ Biomedical & Life Sciences Lecture Collection

Whether exploring a new subject or looking for material to supplement coursework, Henry Stewart Talks (HS Talks) provide students and faculty with immediate access to over 2,900 seminar-style online lectures, specially prepared and narrated by world-leading experts. The medical school community can access the vast Biomedical and Life Sciences Collection through Becker Library’s subscription.

Use HS Talks’ Login Via Organization feature to login to Becker Medical Library Remote Access when off campus and not on VPN. Click LOGIN, then LOGIN VIA ORGANISATION under the account icon in the top right.

Lectures are easy to search for by keyword, subject or lecturer. Find more help in the quick start guide.

Faculty tools

Faculty members can directly link to lectures and assign them for student use. To receive suggestions for lectures that support a class, faculty may click Send Syllabus in the footer of any page. Then simply attach a syllabus or a description of a course’s learning objectives and HS Talks will suggest which lectures and case studies are suitable.
