About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

SAS statistical analysis software is available on the Research Pod computers in Becker Library through WUSTL’s SAS Education Analytic Suite (EAS) site license. The Research Pod computers have SAS version 9.4. The SAS EAS license includes Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH, SAS Enterprise Guide and a variety of other SAS modules. You can find a complete list of the SAS EAS license modules on WUSTL Software Licensing's SAS information page. In addition, Becker Library has added PROC LCA

If you'd like to license SAS for installation on your own computer, you can do that through WUSTL Software Licensing (WUSTL Software Licensing's SAS information page).
